Bachelor of Health Science – Physiotherapy
Bachelor of Science – Anatomy and Structural Biology
Campbell is passionate about helping his patients achieve meaningful outcomes. As the founder and senior clinician at Extension Physio, established in 2021, he brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to community care.
Campbell’s career includes numerous highlights. He is currently the physiotherapist for Cranbrook School, supporting a range of their sports programs. He spent five years as the team physio for Easts Rugby Club and has worked extensively with the International Cricket Program, continuing in his consulting role with their Sydney academy for over three years.
His experience spans local, regional, and national sporting teams, including Surf Life Saving, Touch Football, Rugby League, and the South-East Asian Rugby Sevens circuit. His international work includes time in London, where he worked alongside leading international cricket physiotherapists.
Upon returning to Sydney, Campbell joined an international spinal institute, gaining in-depth expertise in neck and lower back conditions. He then spent five years in Sydney’s CBD, further refining his clinical skills under the guidance of titled and PhD-qualified physiotherapists. During this time, he developed a strong interest in the management of tendons and tendinopathies.
Despite his extensive sports and clinical background, Campbell’s greatest passion is community physiotherapy.
“In Bondi, you see injuries and conditions from all walks of life. One patient might be an elite athlete, the next is living with a chronic neurological condition.”
Campbell works closely with the team at Ocean Medical Practice, ensuring a collaborative and efficient approach to managing complex cases that require multidisciplinary care.
He continues to advance his expertise through postgraduate studies in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, with electives in Sports Physiotherapy — advanced training well beyond standard practice.
Before becoming a physiotherapist, Campbell completed a Bachelor of Science in Neuroanatomy, fuelling his ongoing interest in neurological conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson’s Disease. More recently, he has undertaken additional training in Concussion management.
Outside of the clinic, you’ll find Campbell cycling to La Perouse, enjoying the occasional Salties Friday swim, running the bays, or spending time with his dog.
